Ross Mitchell, his band, and singers are a terrific dance band that have played at several events at which Alec has been photographer. Alec says he finds it hard not to put down his camera and dance when he hears them play, and Ross does a great line in patter between numbers. A terrific bunch of musicians.
Mr Wonderful Dancing organises Ballroom and Latin dance courses for London, private 1-1 dance lessons and social ballroom dance events & holidays. There is a Partner search facility also available via the website.
Expressions Studios is located in Kentish Town and is one of London's most successful dance studios, with a huge range of of classes and workshops every day of the week. Studios are also available for hire and the cafe there is extremely popular!
Ceroc is Britain's fastest growing partner-dance organisation. Currently boasting more than 170 weekly classes across the UK, Ceroc is an easy-to-learn blend of Salsa, Jive, Blues and Swing. Alec is also an accredited Ceroc teacher, and you can see some of his photographs from Ceroc events here.
Shanturia Dance Theatre is a London dance company specialising in contemporary and African-Carribean dance whose aim is to bridge the gap between youth dance and professional dance. Shanturia has established itself as a performance/workshop company inspired by the local community: rich in its own diversity and culture. Shanturia offers dance workshops in schools, community dance classes and dance performances.
